On Khan Academy, we offer engaging science courses for the middle school, high school, and Advanced Placement (AP) levels. Our content is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the College Board Course and Exam Descriptions (CEDs). For Texas teachers and students, we have courses aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Science is best learned through doing. So at Khan Academy, we go beyond videos, articles, and quizzes. We also offer hands-on activities anchored in real-world phenomena which require only simple materials. We also incorporate interactive simulations into our content which allow students to explore models, manipulate variables, and more. If you're using Khan Academy resources in a classroom setting, we offer teacher unit guides to help you plan lessons with ease.
Whether you’re launching a new unit, differentiating instruction, or preparing for an AP exam, our science collection helps you and your students succeed. Khan academy is here to help you bring out the joy in science!
